Spedster Dyslexia Solutions
Beginning with our Literacy Screener, SPEDSTER Dyslexia Solutions powered by IDL is a straightforward and efficient online tool designed to identify dyslexic-type difficulties. The test takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is ideal for screening students starting in K. It can be administered to both groups and individuals who may have concerns about their literacy development.
Once screened, SPEDSTER Literacy intervention software is a multi-sensory system that uses a speaking computer to assist learners with dyslexia and other learning challenges in improving their reading and spelling skills. Originally created for those with dyslexia, this program serves as an effective intervention and can also be implemented as a comprehensive literacy solution across schools and districts alike.
Beginning with our Numeracy Screener, SPEDSTER Dyscalculia Solutions powered by IDL is an easy-to-use online test designed to identify dyscalculic tendencies or other number-related special educational needs. The test takes about 15 minutes and is ideal for screening students from K to 8. It can be used to assess an entire year group or individual students showing signs of math anxiety or specific mathematical difficulties.
Once screened, SPEDSTER Numeracy intervention software is aimed at improving the skills of low-attaining learners in mathematics. The lessons are designed to be inclusive, reducing the stress typically felt by those with dyscalculia when faced with mathematical problems. After a few hours of using IDL Numeracy, learners will become familiar with the lessons. Since the lesson mechanics remain consistent, they gain the confidence needed to tackle new problems effectively.

SPEDSTER Behavioral Solutions powered by IDL is an innovative product designed to integrate seamlessly with a whole-school approach to mental health, resilience, and behavior management. Developed over two years in collaboration with top psychologists, SPEDSTER Wellbeing incorporates contemporary theories and mindfulness practices. Research shows that teaching resilience and emotional literacy can significantly reduce incidents of poor mental health later in life. SPEDSTER Wellbeing uses an integrated approach to support children in grades 1-9, helping them understand and manage negative emotions while promoting positive ones.
